The Ravenous Readers Book Club

Ten years ago...

I was the librarian of a tiny high school in rural Appalachia. My students had chosen to read a book called The Selection by this new author. When we got the end, a few students realized that the author lived about an hour away from us. I encouraged them to write to her, asking if she was interested in joining our book club meeting that Friday.

SHE DID!!

We all knew as we talked over cafeteria brownies and a 2lb. pound of sour gummy worms that Kiera Cass would become a huge author with a worldwide following (even if she didn't realize it yet).

Kiera is joining my book clubs once again. She's the featured author for BOTH Sofa Spuds Book Club and Young @ Heart Book Club for December. I couldn't decide which club would get her book, so both will!! And she's got some special goodies just for us.

Sofa Spuds Book Club is a Book Box that has Young Adult books for Teens. This box is perfect for anyone who is aged 13-18. These are going to be amazing YA books that anyone can read.

If you are an adult who still loves to read YA books, then this might be the book club for you. They definitely have more mature content. You must be over 18 to participate in the online book club on Google Meets.

There is a difference between Sofa Spuds Book Club and Young @ Heart Book Club.
- Sofa Spuds Book Club is for TEENS
- Young @ Heart Book Club is for ADULTS who still read YA

Because this book has a publication date of November 29th, the normal shipping dates for the boxes will be pushed back. Boxes will be shipped within the first 10 days of December (depending on arrival of books).
